Conducting Assistive Technology Screening©

In this workshop participants will learn to conduct Assistive Technology Screening as the first step in the comprehensive Assistive Technology Assessment process. The process will review state and federal consideration and assessment requirements, a variety of documentation tools (AT Screener, WATI, TechPoints and others) and methodologies.

During the workshop we will use Assistive Technology Screener©. Materials provided include one copy of the Screener© Manual and Protocol per participant. (The Assistive Technology Screener© meets state and federal guidelines for Assistive Technology Assessment.) Participants are invited to bring videotapes of students (with signed release forms) to be reviewed during the workshop.
